Famous as the setting of the television show "Dallas" which ran between 1978 and 1991, Southfork Ranch is now a conference and events center and is also open for tours. Visitors can participate in the ranch's daily guided trips, featuring a tram trip to the ranch complete with a history of the location and a tour of the Ewing Mansion itself. Many pieces of show memorabilia are displayed at the ranch, and visitors are invited to stroll the ranch grounds or grab a bite at the show-inspired deli. The isolated ranch is about seven miles northeast of Plano, past Bob Woodruff Park in the small town of Parker.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tours run every 30 - 45 minutes.
Adults $9.50; Seniors $8; Children (5-12) $7; Children 4 and under are free.
